Pink for Paradise! Bermuda has 11 bus routes, covering the entire island, with 300 stops. Bus stops are easy to spot, a bright pink pole on the side of the road goes into town (Hamilton), and a bright blue pole goes out of town. There are some stone bus stops, often with archways and a bench. A ride on a Bermuda Breeze Bus affords some of the best views of the island, especially along the South shore. The bus system, like in other places, grew and adapted from earlier modes of transportation; up until the 1950s, so you will still see a variety of styles. All are air conditioned. They always show the destination on the front in bright yellow writing.
