Blue Bottle Jellyfish trio (Portuguese Man O War) cookie biscuits

From: $15.00

These little blue, purple  and pink jellyfish known as Portuguese Man O War are  seen in Bermuda’s waters from Spring through to early Summer. Occasionally,  due to storms and tides, as well as the fact that they don’t have any means of their own propulsion, they can then get washed up onto our pink beaches earlier in the year.

They normally float in colonies out in the mid oceans, where they have few predators except for turtles and some types of sea slugs.

Their name comes from an eighteenth century artillery ship, which they resemble in full sail (with their full bladders).

Harmful to humans causing painful stings, they are very rarely dangerous, unless you have an allergic reaction to them.

We think they are quite pretty with the variety of colours and shapes.

Each biscuit is 2″ x 4″

Each pack contains 3 biscuits
